CHRISTMAS COVE

I started this painting in the morning. The clouds rolled in and nudged the color down.

I came back at 3 pm to the most incredible blue. The blue that only Christmas Cove can reflect from the sky.

I love this place. A constant parade of beautiful cruising yachts brings me back to my younger years. Living and cruising on sailboats.

Sooooo glad I did this while sporting a mighty fine bikini!

Christmas Cove and Coveside Restaurant and Marina is about 8 minutes from my home in Maine.
