Eden
Charcoal on paper
15 x 22″
2014
This charcoal drawing turned into a painting. The subtle hint of a woman holding an apple holds so many possibilities. This started with a weekly life drawing session. I thought of so many ways to use this information to make another statement.
Paintings can start with scraps of information. Sketching and journaling to feel what might become a thought-provoking composition. The life of an artist is constant observation.
