I’ve Been Thinking “Ruth” had to be my subject at The Hodgdon Shipyard, Southport, Maine.

 

I checked in at the office to wander through this very classy yard. The people are incredible. It’s a beautiful yard, so well planned and maintained.

 

I wandered with my dog-sitting buddy, Aylish, to find the right spot. It was a bit chilly and blowing too much for comfort, but I got a great start.

 

Aylish was attached to my waist. She greeted everyone who stopped by to chat but finally settled down.

 

I wonder about the name. I’ve Been Thinking “Ruth.” I will return to this wonderful spot – hopefully warmer to explore the details. The deep color of the sky is a dead give a way to the chill in the air.

 

I will continue exploring the Mid Coast Maine Peninsulas. Each one has a multitude of absolutely stunning surprises.

 

I am at one with a beautiful boat yard!
