January Windsong Snow is a sketch of my mornings in my new home. I live at the end of Windsong Way. Rumor has it that the original owner of this land named it after his sailboat. I am home!

Snow is such an incredible light mirror. It is almost impossible to describe what color shines in the light. Always a play of warm and cool and never one color. A glow might be a more appropriate description.

I am in love with the incredible patterns made by the sun so low in the sky shining through the forest. This sketch is just the beginning.

And oh you should see the moon!

I find incredible peace walking in the woods. Forest bathing soaks up negativity and refreshes my brain. The pattern of the trees is like a heartbeat. This new environment is inspiring.

art urges voyages,
