I walked by this shrine frequently when dog-walking Ollie and Beau in Weston, CT. It made me stop and think about all the stories this pile of rocks could tell. Elements aged or got rearranged after every storm (kind of like myself.) I couldn’t resist painting this light and all of the treasures left to remember.

Funny, I spent a good painting session here after Jimmy Buffet died. I learned to love his crazy music when I left on my sailing journey from Chicago to Florida. I streamed all of my favorites in my hearing aids and sang loudly to each one.

The others on the path must have thought me crazy!
