Oakwood

2008

Watercolor, graphite and gesso on 300 lb. paper

14.5 x22″deckled edges

22 x 30.5″framed

All of these images come from my suburban Florida life. The name of my 1980s planned community is “Oakwood.” The ibis’ are particularly prolific here. Interestingly, I have to hide my sheets when drying on the line, it is illegal here to aire your laundry. Just another attempt on my part to, “Be where you are!”
